If you’re suffering from mental ill-health:

  • I need to speak to someone OR I need to speak to you
  • I’m not coping very well and need your support
  • I feel trapped and can’t see a way out
  • Everything seems to be getting on top of me and I need help
  • Things aren’t easy for me at the moment and I need a helping hand

If your loved one, or someone close to you, is suffering from mental ill-health:

  • Are your sure you’re OK? Do you need support?
  • Is there anything I can do to help you?
  • Tell me how you’re feeling
  • Things are difficult for you at the moment – can I do anything to help?
  • It’s OK to talk about how you’re feeling
